SYNOPSIS
Jane and Ilah find themselves stranded on the side of the road while driving through upstate New York on a road trip. Unable to continue their journey, the girls reluctantly spend a few nights at a motel. As they wait for the local mechanic to open, they must find ways to pass the time in the middle of nowhere.
Wandering through the wooded landscape and turning inward, Jane and Ilah interrogate the daunting conditions of growing up and, in the process, uncover their fundamental differences.
Wool Gloves is an ambulatory short film that dissects the existential thoughts that arise during one’s youth. A pastiche of the coming-of-age genre — a look into the aphorisms of budding maturity.
